My NS Filters return way too few results. I don't know what changes but I have way too few results.

For example when I select incall, white, Latina, Asian, ages from 18 to 35, incall, exclude TS, in a 5 mile around dublin I get only 4 results.

Help

Are you sure you listed your filter criteria correctly? You say Incall twice, for example, and don't define a type of service or a price range. I just plugged in all the above (with no selection for service or $) and got 59 listings. I get the smallest number (5) limiting type to Greek.

Correct about Incall. Services are escort and Greek.

I get 5 results.

I think you found your answer - if you want the booty, you're going to have to travel. Which kinda surprises me, as I thought Pleasanton was a happening place.

At 10 miles, you've got 20, minus 2 duplicates for 18.

Hollyblu, Lily and Tiffanycharm aren't there because their listings don't mention Greek. Danielle even says no trips to the Islands. And Mya Monroe has beaten the system by including Greek in her body text, but not in service type or Interest. A text search would find her, but the filters won't.

Just realized the criteria are escort "and" Greek and not "or",

Explains everything.

Good to know

Tks

Something broke with the recent site update. As an example, where a search on Escort, Massage, and FBSM in the Type filter used to return all providers that have any of those listed services (a Boolean 'or' for those in the know), it now only lists providers who list all of those services (Boolean 'and'). Which means, for instance, it excludes a provider who only lists Escort and not the other options. This is clearly not the behavior most would expect or prefer. And I know it wasn't behaving this way before about a week ago, around the same time the site updated with new formatting in the listing results.

I've reported this issue to the admins several days ago. Someone responded to say that they're looking into it. But it's still broken.

So your best bet for the time being is to uncheck all options on the Type filter and then you'll get all results. Alternatively, you can check one service type at a time. Problems crop up when you select 2 or more service types.

Actually, that isn't broken. It finally got fixed. It's always supposed to have been a Boolean "and". There was a Site Help thread on this subject.

If this is the way it's supposed to work, it's absurdly non-intuitive and overly-limiting. It will also incentivize providers to declare they offer all services once they realize doing so will now help them get more search hits. For instance, if I'm considering either an Escort or an FBSM provider based on who's available at the time, I won't see the Escorts or the FBSMs unless they say they provide both. And we all know there are very few who actually provide both. But I will see those who list every service.

This gaming if the system already happens with the "In & Outcall" status from a number of providers who don't actually have an Incall. That's frustrating enough.

For those who don't turn to overstating their offerings, this just serves to diminish the visibility of their listings. And that's not good for business. And it it's not good for business, it's not good for the community.

Here's the Site Help thread:

As you can see, the logic was always supposed to be "and", got set to "or" about four months ago, and was fixed just recently.

The reasoning for the "and" is that, with an "and" filter an "or" search is a bit more work, but with an "or" filter an "and" search is just about impossible. The service type field is also one of a very few (I hadn't thought about incall/out) where a provider might check more than one option, so it's different from height or age where an "or" does make intuitive sense.

I don't have the same experience of providers gaming the filters as you do, and I don't think I use them the way you do (I tend to have service type in mind first, and then see who's available). But I'm just one guy.
