This topic might have been brought up already but...

I have started having troubles when performing, I don't drink or smoke nor do I work out but I'm not overweight I'm 32 and weight 179 lbs. I get hard but sometimes during the session my erection would start going soft, sometimes it would stay hard, sometimes I would finish soon and sometimes it would take a while to get done to the point is not enjoyable for me anymore ( if anybody relates to that )

I remember when I was younger and would be able to finish and get hard right away again, those days are gone.i just went to my doctor and told him that, I asked if he would recommend using Viagra or any of those, he said no, it might be something mental or psychological, that I need to have a supportive partner and all that.

I also have watched porn, we all do, since I can remember the joys of masturbation, I went from vanilla porn to everything in between, except for stuff that could put anyone in jail.

I have tried Viagra ( one session) and Cialis (one session) I didn't feel nothing, if anything I think they made me not want to get hard.

Any of you have any advice or gone through something like this, even in your civilian life?

Stop watching porn and masturbating for a week. If it's still a problem after that, go to the doctor

Yes I have tried that, I don't watch much porn now a days, and when I see my atf is every weekend or every 2 weeks, during the time in between I don't see anybody else, and I don't masturbate every day, that's why I thought I would post on here to see if anybody had any issue like mine, granted we aren't doctors, but given the way my libido is going I think I should be concerned already.

Thanks for your input.

Your cardio system has a lot to do with performance

if you don't exercise that could be part of it

you might consider going to the gym running etc

you can't really build a good foundation if your base is wobbly, this is hydraulics after all

your testosterone can also play into this, taking supplements can also help

goos luck!

Get your testosterone level checked, if too low, this can happen. Your doctor can prescribe.  Not sure your age.   I also find that taking it a bit slower with a lot of visual foreplay helps ensure a successful session for me. Sometimes I think I'm ready to go, but by waiting and letting the anticipation build up a bit more, I end up with a great finish.  If I rush to start, sometimes I just can't get there.

take l-citrulline

Also maca and sunflower lecithin

As mentioned earlier, simply cutting out whacking off to increasingly intense stimuli will lower your sensitivity threshold to normal sexual stimulation.

I would say start exercising and consider changing your diet to include foods that are beneficial you good circulation.

Another thing could be your stress levels and personal well being.  If you're having a hard time at work or with family or friends, that can have a big influence.

Last thought is, perhaps you're board with your ATF subconsciously.  Maybe try some other girls to see if that inspires you.

Last thought is to take a break from hobbying for a spell to see if your desire comes back.

This poster has added supplements I would have suggested, but not everyone responds the same way

l citrulline can help with oxygen transport and maca I find works great on your (or my) hormonal system

I haven't tried sunflower lecithin - but I would second the first two dannile has suggested

27 is too young for this to be a problem. You should get a complete medical workup to rule out organic disease. If all checks out OK, you should see a sex therapist. Perhaps you feel guilt or remorse by having to pay for sex? You should find someone that knows how to light your fire.

Thanks for all the input, I don't think I feel guilty for paying for sex, I know what it is and what to expect, maybe my atf is not enough for me anymore,

A lot of medications (Rx & OTC) can contribute to this.

Sometimes dietary modifications can have some help.  Avoid all refined carbs (all sugar and all flour).   I've heard people mention here about including celery and watermelon in your diet.

Pre-diabetes, especially when over weight, can be a factor, but 179 lb and 6' 2" is not over weight (maybe you're just too short?)

I'm assuming your pcp checked some basic blood work including  CBC, CMP, TSH, Hgb A1C, lipid panel, testosterone level.

Stress, depression, sleep problems, and relationship problems can definitely be contributing to this.

Always best to have a thorough medical eval by pcp or urologist to rule out any physical/medical factors before assuming "you're too young so it must be psychological".

First thing, get various tests such as testosterone. After any medical issues are ruled out, you may still want to increase your t levels. I'm healthy and do it naturally through diet and exercise.

I'm in my mid 50s and 99% of the time can get two Os in an hour. No problem getting hard if I'm attracted to the woman.

Do a google search on natural ways to boost t levels - foods to eat and to avoid. For example. avoid all soy products and flax seed. Consider eating grass fed beef. I do resistance training and high intensity workouts several times  week.

Sometimes before the session, if I have the time, I'll have a smoothie with banana and maca. But without it, I'm usually fine. You have to build up your system over time with exercise and the right diet.

if you do all that above and still have issues, maybe you're seeing the wrong type of provider, or it probably is psychological and or/stress you aren't aware of.

When you clog your arteries with meat, dairy and eggs, you get atherosclerosis, which begins as early as age ten in most Americans. The smaller vessels of the penis get clogged the fastest because they're smaller. Hence erectile dysfunction is the 'canary in the coalmine' of heart disease. If you can't get it up 100%, chances are you're working your way towards an early grave. Consider it a blessing that you were warned BEFORE your first heart attack. Stop all animal proteins and watch the boner return to full strength amazingly quickly.

That's an excellent point regarding atherosclerosis.

Current research has proven atherosclerotic heart disease to be in inflammatory process and less about "floating plaques in the bloodstream" which is found more in the hereditary/genetic component of hyperlipidemia.

I'm having my doctor take a blood test to check my testosterone and endocrine levels, I don't have relationship problems, not diabetic and I can't recall anything stressful in my life, so all of those factors really off the table.

Thanks, the provider is not the issue, as I kept coming back to her for several years, I told the doctor how I was performing before, get done, not even loose my hard on and get going again in less than 15 min. But now is not like that, I don't have any stress as paying bills and stuff like that, I don't have a significant other so that's ruled out, the other thing would be like he said psychological? May be porn catched up with me or need to spice things up even more, I don't know.

I agree with the one poster who suggested you go see an urologist or sex therapist. Maybe your family doctor or primary physician is NOT capable of diagnosing your problem as well as specialists.

Have you had a physical lately with the full battery of tests to rule out high blood pressure, heart disease, diabete etc...? If you fail one of these tests you may begin by treating them first to eliminate possible causes.

If you're in excellent health and passed those tests then you can go see urologist or sex therapist as the next step.

It's also possible your ATF  just doesn't quite cut it anymore. I know that no matter how good or good-looking a gal is if she's non-GFE I get tired of her and lose interest much quicker than a GFE one.

In the meantime you can also try out special herbal supplements at the local liquor or convenient stores you got nothing to lose.

I just got blood drawn to check for all STD's and hep a,b,c and what not, I also suggested my doctor to check for testosterone levels as well as other endocrine and unspecified ED (suggested by him) I mentioned Viagra or other supplements and he said I'm too young to be taking those, he is also young doctor, so I don't know if I should trust his input? I mean sometimes older doctors are better, but sometimes younger are more up to date on stuff, I don't really know, as far as stuff from vitamin shoppe or sex stores I tried t4000 pill from a adult store, no effect, my atf gave me Viagra, (once)  I didn't notice nothing, unless it was something she or someone gave her as "Viagra". All I have to do now is wait for the results and see if I need to go the next step with a internal medicine doctor, urologist or a sex therapist, because for a period of time a few years back I was heavily into porn, i wouldn't say addictive as I was able to work normal but I would watch porn everyday after work for at least an hr. So it might be that too, I haven't watched that much in a while. I hope this thread helps someone out too, and thanks for all the info you guys are giving out.

Hey Chivo I'm going to piggyback off a previous comment about taking maca powder. I'm a personal trainer older than 40 and younger than 45. I was a walking hard-on into my 30's but over the years it got difficult to go for round 2. About a year ago it was so bad that I wouldn't get fully hard masturbating, even with the help of porn. It caused problems in my relationship because my SO thought I was no longer attracted to her. This ended in divorce.

About 9 months ago I started doing the keto diet and added 1 tbs of maca to one of my coffees. After a few weeks my dick was getting hard left and right. I suddenly had no problem staying hard at the AMP when the cover went on without the need of CBJ just to stay hard. Now when I fuck civvies I can cum and begin round 2 without pulling out or taking a break to recharge. I even have a hard time falling asleep sometimes because my dick will get so hard that I have to get out of bed and jerk to some porn to get relief. I consider it a welcome inconvenience compared to the embarrassment I suffered over a year ago.

Now I can't say for sure if it's the keto, the maca or a combination of both but I'm a new man. I'm not like I was in my twenties where just looking at a chic would get me hard, but I have no complaints. I don't take any medications and usually forget to take vitamins. The only thing I can blame for my renewed stamina is keto and/or maca. It may not work for everyone but it's worth a try.

You should Google porn induced erectile dysfunction.  There are several articles about the problems associated with excessive masturbating to porn.  Originally thought to be a problem with teenagers has also been found to affect men of all ages.  This is probably a factor with my problem.

Nice guys ...

Not only good blood flow is necessary for an erection you also need well oxygenated blood. Sleep apnea is now being recognized as a major culprit in ED contributors.

Get one of those finger tip blood oxygen meters ($30 at RiteAide) and track your oxygen levels at different times of the day. At your age you better be banging 98-99% on average.

Wow !! That's alot of great information on getting hard.

My question is how to prevent from blowing too soon??

Is this a related issue?

Measuring your pulseoximeter reading (% oxygen saturation) periodically throughout the day gives no info what so ever about having, not having, or degree of sleep apnea.

You can now get relatively inexpensive recordable pulse oximeter devices that allow you to record your O2 sat reading all night long, then download the device's info in to your computer to see the readings for the whole night while you were asleep.  Almost like doing a mini sleep study at home.

Thanks, I've looked at that diet too, it just a little hard for me to keep a constant on that as I travel a lot and stay on hotels for  work, I however have started eating more vegetables and fish at any restaurant I can, along with salads and chicken, many ice tea unsweetened and lots of water and Gatorade, no alcohol in months, although I never consumed more than 3 beers in one day.

And I have abandoned all kinds of chips and Frito lay and stuff like that, ice cream is off my menu too, is that horny goat for sale without prescription?
