We have been working on a new redesign for the main Listings page. It has taken months to create b/c of all the new filters and the new/faster way to browse and find providers. Please check it out and provide feedback and bugs on this forum.
It is still in beta as we have things to add such as sorting and test all the filters and new location search result system.
This new listing format will allow you to save your most frequent searches, pull up listings much faster, and hopefully just provide a more enjoyable experience on NS.

I looked at the beta link. The search criteria, on the left side, are distracting to see. I used saved filter preferences, and so don't need to see the settings alongside the listing results. The images in the new view are also smaller, I much prefer the larger images I get in my current filtered search.
The listing headline seems redundant with the provider name link already there, and takes up a lot of space in some cases. It's not really redundant- it's good marketing for providers and new clients- but as a daily visitor I don't need both in that busy box. Maybe make the headline link directly? Maybe limit the headline length, and disallow emojis?
And the "filters off" button is missing. Search and filter are different things and people use both.
The new style is... okay.
The pictures are smaller and it seems a lot of space is wasted on the headline part of the listing. Seems that way to me.
There is slightly more information but feels like there is lots of wasted space. If I were to ADD anything to each listing it would be their prices. That would make scrolling though that much more informative I think.
I wouldn't add pricing, and IMO there may be too much information in the listing box. It should answer the question "do I want to know more", and not try to answer "do I want to meet her".
For the 'filters off' option, does a saved search not replace the need for that option? Basically you can save your recent search and clear all to turn off the filters?
Noted about larger images. We generally gravitate towards more image but, we wanted to be cognizant of our members who visit the site in public places, ie smaller images until they click to make bigger. Let's see what others have to say about this topic.
Too much info is represented. What other items would you recommend we remove from the first page? It sounds like 'title' is being requested to be removed?
as of today, when I am on any page, no longer is there information at the top - the buttons for "forums", "listings", reviews" and even my own link to my inbox are no longer there... I haven't figured out a workaround for that last one, so, I can't check my inbox... there are workarounds for the others, but it was easier before when the buttons were there......
I am a + 1 on showing at least the hourly rate. This was an "old site" feature that was helpful, it's on the rendering of favorites but not in the main listing area. On the flip side. favorites rendering doesn't display "available now". I look at favorites way more than the full list with my filters.
* I like the listing title length, the more characters you can fit the better.
* I like the ad on top quick view. Maybe have one other spot higher up to "click to full listing"?*
* When clicking to full listing maybe open that in "new tab" and leaving the long list where it is? The old "back" button on the full listing it's unclear where that would return me too
Will there be a photo tool to assist girls with how their 1st photo will look?
Any chance a mouse over the girl's 1st photo can render it in a larger size?
I couldn't get it to load on mobile, so my comments are all desktop
1. Saved search is a great feature upgrade - thank you. Sure convenient and helpful to be able to save several different searches w varying criteria, rather than clear and then re-select features every time. Sweet.
2. Pix size - all good - helpful to have smaller pix for surfing in coffee shops & restaurants, for sure. Cool.
3. The upper right button with drop-down menu for all of the various features, listings, inbox, forums, etc. is a great upgrade too as the main forums page is far less cluttered and you're not always bothered/distracted by the glaring blue envelope screaming to read some other stupid PM. LOL
4. THANK YOU, NS ADMIN!!!

Test drived the new UI with Firefox:
1. On desktop, "Apply" page seems too wide, right-side scroll bar interferes with checkboxes, dropdowns, etc
2. On main "Search" page, instead of going into the "Save Search (#)", to select a saved filter, it would be nice to have a dropdown next to the "Applied Filters (#)" or something like, "Applied Filter (<name>) v >"
Saved searches and the "clear all" filter is a decent substitute for turning off filters. Saved searches is a great upgrade, in any case. However, beta is buggy with its not always applying filters saved.
I don't have this quick view thing at all on my mobile.
Pages would be great - one long list takes a while to load, and I'm afraid to try much back & forth. I'd like a "go to page xx" function, myself.
As for what to show, I'd skip age & ethnicity, which are usually evident from the picture, and list type of services. Rates I'd rather not see up front, but that's just me.
This will definitely be a case of "can't please everyone" ad I am the opposite of some of these.
I kinda like the continued scrolling instead of pages. And I'd prefer price listed but i agree age and race doesn't necessarily need listing.
It's nice having a new style to try out.
Question for Admin....what ideally are you trying to achieve with a new layout?
as of this morning, the page is restored on my computer... back are the four tabs top left (listings, reviews, forums, chat) and the right top buttons (including the link to my inbox) are also back... I do NOT find the "inbox envelope" to be screaming at me to check another worthless pm - I don't know who surelets is inboxing with but I get 90% of my good intel through inbox from a number of guys I share with and trust and I almost always make first provider contact through inbox (which usually satisfies any screening requirements they may have which are often problematic because many providers don't respond to other providers seeking references - nothing in it for them)...... thanks for restoring this easy to navigate setup...
The new listing layout really is focused on our mobile friends. If you have haven't tried out the new listing search on mobile, I highly recommend you do so and provide feedback!
iPad it works very well - now my preference is to view NS on the tablet over the P.C. I don't use the smartphone for hobby sites and my hobby phone uses too much data for them.
I only browse NS on my phone using Chrome.
Besides the scrolling, instead of pages, I haven't found any real benefit to using the alternate layout. I don't dislike it but I don't know if I love it. It's different. Definitely needs some adjusting before it goes primetime.
Will this completely replace the other layout or will we be able to always choose which we want to use?

The reason to exclude the price is to get you to at least open an ad you might otherwise skip over. I've seen ads where the provider has one donation below her pic and a different, higher or lower, donation in her ad text.
Remember, all the results should fit within the donation range you set up in your filter.
@highonsbux: Firefox? Really?! SMH

When I input my location as well as the search mile radius, I am still given the result in other areas. This might be something that needs to be looked at

So here's my $.02 worth... FYI, I'm using an iPod Touch.
•I clicked on your link above and got the header and footer and nothing else.
•I went to the listings page and selected the "Preview the new listings format" (or whatever it says) and got the header and footer and nothing else.
• I opened the Filter Listings box and filtered on several different things ( city, distance, age, and a couple others) and went to the Submit button and it didn't work.
• All through use of the Filters I constantly had to rotate my device to horizontal position and wait for the box to rearrange itself and then back to vertical before it would load the next section(s) of the input box. I could never get the entire Filter box to load so that all I had to do was scroll up or down instead of rotating it back and forth. The Submit button never did work so I finally found my way back to the top and "x"ed my way out.
•Back to the basic listings, I still have to rotate to horizontal, wait for the reload and then rotate back to vertical.

We need to be able to sort by date. It shows providers who havent posted in months in the results.

I believe the above is a glitch. My prior views of beta had a date/time listing order correct. I was only this AM that the above was rendered oddly

I like the layout. It seems quicker to load the images and listings. Sometimes the side by side pictures take longer to pop up on my phone.
Thanks for the feedback thus far. In response to your posts:
Location results is still being worked on b/c of the new lat/lng system we have going on in the background. This will be fixed before going primetime.
The sorting by bump date was messed up earlier today. It should be resolved now. Please check again.
ilickalot53, I'll pm you directly and see why you're having this issue.
Yes, the images and the listing results should all be loading quicker than before which is one of the main benefits of this listing search.
It's 11:10pm on Friday, I'm on firefox browser on a laptop
when going into a saved search, the 1st ad i clicked into worked fine. i closed it and clicked into a 2nd one and the rendering was stuck at photos and I couldn't scroll down to read ad text.. Attempts to look at other ads produced similar limitations

Beta listing never loads any ads using Android 6.6 and puffin browser. Old listing at least still works.
